Discontinued

Journal Biosystems and Information Technology is discontinued as of 2014. We are thankful to the editors, authors and referees for their contribution to the journal.

Published papers will remain available on the website and via doi.

Aims and scope

Biosystems and information technology are related in many ways. The scientific journal „Biosystems and Information Technology” concentrates on applications of information technology for biosystems research: registering, understanding, modelling, predicting, optimizing and other activities. Applications of biological principles in information technology is another area of journal’s interest.

Statement about Open Access

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

The ethic statements of the journal „Biosystems and Information Technology” are based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

It is necessary to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing.
